It is symbolic that Daniya Plygovka, a native of the occupied Simferopol, became the first baby who was registered as a citizen of Ukraine in Australia and, in honor of such an event, received an embroidered dress from the Ambassador of Ukraine.

"It is very symbolic that a young Ukrainian lady from Crimea, who lives in Australia, came to issue a Ukrainian passport. A good start to life story. Fortunately and fortune", - Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Mykola Kulinich commented on the event.

The goal of the event, which, with support of the NGO "World Vyshyvanka Day" and its coordinator Lesia Voronyuk, was initiated by the Ukrainian Embassy in Australia - to present embroidered shirts to small Ukrainians who were born abroad, but registered with the citizens of Ukraine at the embassy.
