Trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Australia

Australia is Ukraine's key trading partner in Oceania.

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, Ukraine's foreign trade in goods with Australia amounted to USD 97.19 million in 2023 (-59% compared to 2022).

Exports of goods from Ukraine to Australia amounted to USD 17.74 million (-5.04%), imports to Ukraine amounted to USD 79.45 million (-63.6%) The negative balance for Ukraine in 2023 is USD 61.7 million.

Foreign trade in goods for 8 months of 2024 amounted to USD 100.39 million. Exports of goods from Ukraine to Australia amounted to USD 10.506 million, imports to Ukraine - USD 89.884 million. The negative balance for Ukraine amounted to USD 79.378 million.

EXPORTERS and INVESTORS COUNCIL

Exporters and Investors Council (EIC) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was established in 2013 in order to safeguard national interests in Ukrainian export promotion and attraction of foreign investments to Ukraine.

EIC is a platform, which unites Ukrainian producers, exporters and leading business associations providing necessary support in promoting their goods and services abroad and entering new markets, as well as attracting foreign investors and companies to Ukraine effectively using diplomatic tools, resources and networks.

The Head of the Council is the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
