In a traditionally warm family spirit, a religious celebration was held at the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church of St. Volodymyr in Canberra. 
Australian Ukrainians with the families, representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy in Australia, friends of the parish took part in the festivities. 
This year's celebrations took place within the framework of a large-scale nationwide celebration of the 1030th anniversary of Christianization of the Kyivan Rus and the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921. 
The Parish gathering was celebrated with a festive divine service and a concert by the children fron Ukrainian school named after Lesya Ukrainka (at the parish of the Ukrainian orthodox church of St. Nicolas). 
The welcoming speech was delivered by the Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine Halyna Yusypiuk.
