August 19 – 26, 2012 the Embassy of Ukraine together with Ukrainian community in Australia celebrated the 21st anniversary of Independence of Ukraine.

Festive community gatherings and concerts have been held in Sydney (New South Wales), Melbourne (Victoria), Perth (Western Australia), Brisbane (Queensland) and Adelaide (South Australia) participated by Ukrainian creative and artistic groups, children and youth bands, well-known artists.

Mr Stanislav Stashevskyi,Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine to Australia delivered a greeting to foreign Ukrainians from H.E. Mr Kostyantyn Gryshchenko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and informed the audience about the current development of Ukraine.
