On September 11, 2024, Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko took part in the event of the Ukraine Friendship Group in the Australian Parliament, during which former Australian Ambassador to Russia Peter Tesch gave a briefing on the motives and consequences of Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

The Ambassador of Ukraine took part in the discussion, thanked the Australian side for its support against the backdrop of the ongoing full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine and conveyed to the audience the urgent needs of the Ukrainian side in this context.
