On March 20-25, the Delegation from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, headed by Ms Galyna Mykhailiuk, Chair of the Ukrainian-Australian Parliamentary Friendship Group, visited Australia.

During their trips to Canberra and Melbourne, the Delegation met with: Senator Sue Lines, President of the Senate, Milton Dick, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Richard Marles, Minister of Defence, Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism, Stephen Jones, Minister for Financial Services, Senator Catryna Bilyk and Senator David Van, Chair and Co-Chair of the Australia-Ukraine Parliamentary Group, Simon Birmingham, Leader of the Opposition, Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs, Joe Buffone, Deputy Coordinator General, Jacinta Allan, Deputy Premier of Victoria, Maree Edwards, Speaker of the Victorian Legislative Assembly, John Pesutto, Leader of the Opposition in Victoria, Andrew Crisp, Emergency Management Commissioner, Cressida Wall, Chief Executive Officer of Projects Victoria.

During the diplomatic visit, the Delegation visited SYPAQ Company which has been manufacturing its Corvo Precision Payload Delivery System (PPDS) drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Thales Australia, Bushmaster manufacturers, Exhibition ‘Unissued Diplomas’ of the diplomas of Ukrainian students whose lives were taken by the Russian aggression.
