Please be informed that according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine №289/2020 of July 21, 2020 - https://www.president.gov.ua/documents/2892020-34449- from the 1st of August 2020 visa free regime is introduced for entry to Ukraine for citizens of Australia and New Zealand if the period of their stay does not exceed 90 days during 180 days.
Liberalization of the visa regime is done with the aim of development of the bilateral relations with foreign partners, reboot of the Ukrainian tourist sphere, activation of the economic cooperation and attraction of foreign investment.
Please take into account that if citizens of Australia and New Zealand plan to stay in the territory of Ukraine for a long term, meaning more than 90 days, they should apply for long term visas though the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia.
Provisions of the Decree of the President of Ukraine apply only to the citizens of Australia and New Zealand and do not apply to the permanent residents of these states.
