Russia's recognition of the documents of separate regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (ORDLO) is not the basis for their recognition by Australia.
An Ukrinform correspondent reported with reference to the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia.
"Australia's position regarding respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine remains unchanged. Australian colleagues have assured us that Australia does not recognize and will not accept these documents," the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Canberra informs.
The diplomatic mission has also noted that the issue of preservation of sanctions against Russia by Australia also remains unchanged, as after the parliamentary elections the same force remained in power in the country and there is no reason to change the policy of sanctions.
