Embassy of Ukraine in Australia together with Becker Film Group Australia will present the world premier of Hollywood movie «Bitter Harvest». The plot of the movie based on true historical events between the two World Wars, BITTER HARVEST conveys the untold story of the Holodomor, the genocidal famine engineered by the tyrant Joseph Stalin. The film displays a powerful tale of love, honour, rebellion and survival at a time when Ukraine was forced to adjust to the horrifying territorial ambitions of the burgeoning Soviet Union.

Main roles are performed by Max Irons, Samantha Barks, Barry Pepper, Terence Stamp.

As Australia was among the first countries in the world to recognize on a parliamentary level the Holodomor as an act of genocide against the Ukrainian people there will be a short official part and exhibition displayed.
