Dear Ukrainian community in Australia! Today Ukraine, together with Ukrainians scattered across the world, celebrates the third anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity.
I know that many of you Ukrainian Australians were active participants in these events directly or at a distance. This proves once again that the sense of dignity, freedom and values is common to us all.
Dignity and freedom cost us very dearly – to this day we pay for them with the lives of our citizens.
In today’s time of hardship we all need to unite our efforts to protect the freedom of the Ukrainian state.
That which pains and annoys us today does not lie on the conscience of the Maidan, which was a sacred and unselfish struggle consecrated with the blood of the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, whom we will always remember.
On this anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity, on behalf of myself and all of Ukraine, I sincerely welcome the participants, volunteers, and everyone who felt compassion during this national liberation struggle for all those who fought for the victory of the Revolution of Dignity.
May peace reign over the Ukrainian land, and prosperity and harmony in each of your family homes, let the belief in a bright future for the Ukrainian state not fade. Our just struggle is supported by the whole world, so Ukraine will certainly be victorious.
Eternal glory to the heroes who died for the freedom of their native land!
Glory to UKRAINE! GLORY to its Heroes!
