H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine Vasyl Myroshnychenko has returned from his official visit to Wellington, New Zealand. He briefed the new government on Ukraine's situation, thanked for support, and kindly requested ongoing aid in military, humanitarian, and economic aspects.
Mr. Myroshnychenko met with NZ Minister of Defence Hon Judith Collins MP and deputy PM and Foreign Minister Winston Peters, spoke to Tim van de Molen MP, the new Chair of the NZ Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade and congratulated Hon. Gerry Brownlee MP on becoming a Speaker of the NZ Parliament.
Mr. Myroshnychenko also met Hon. David Seymour, Leader of the Act Party and Minister of Regulation and Tenby Powell, founder of Kiwi K.A.R.E., a New Zealand dedicated charity for the humanitarian relief in Ukraine.
Ambassador also formally welcomed Patrick Gamble as the new Honorary Consul of Ukraine in New Zealand.
