Ambassador of Ukraine thanks Australian Prime Minister for continued support

On 12 October 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko spoke briefly with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during the annual dinner of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Ambassador thanked the Prime Minister for Australia’s continued support for Ukraine, reaffirmed during his recent meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, including the signing of the Bilateral Security Agreement and the announcement of an additional AUD 60 million in assistance.

Australia’s assistance strengthens Ukraine’s defence and resilience as Ukraine continues to fight for a just and lasting peace.
