On 12 October 2026, the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia welcomed participants of Girls Run the World, a program that introduces young women to diplomacy and the work of diplomatic missions in Canberra.

During the meeting, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Australia, Vasyl Myroshnychenko, spoke about the Embassy’s work, Ukraine’s resistance to Russia’s aggression, and the role of diplomacy in securing international support for Ukraine. The participants had an opportunity to learn more about the daily activities of a diplomatic mission and the challenges of working in wartime.
