On November 6, 2024, an online seminar organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine together with the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia on "Investing in Ukraine and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine" for representatives of Australian and New Zealand businesses  was held.

From the Ukrainian side, the event was attended by Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko, First Secretary on economic issues of the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia Pavlo Troian, Head of the Exporters Support Bureau of the Economic Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Natalia Zhynkina, Acting Director of the Department of Investment Attraction and Cooperation with International Organizations of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine Maryna Khlystun, Head of the Investment Projects Department of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleh Angelov, employees of the Government Office for attracting and supporting investments "UkraineInvest" Andriy Rizvanyuk and Kateryna Prokhoda.

From the Australian and New Zealand sides, more than 50 representatives of local businesses, chambers of commerce and industry, industry associations, and local charitable organizations took part in the event.

During the event, representatives of Ukraine presented to the participants of the seminar the investment potential of Ukraine, paying special attention to the possibilities of investing and participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine without waiting for the end of the active phase of hostilities in Ukraine.

The event showed the great attention of Australian and New Zealand businesses to participation in the investment and reconstruction of Ukraine (more than 130 participants were registered for the seminar, more than 30 questions were received from the Australian and New Zealand sides before and during it). In addition, after the event, the Embassy received up to 10 letters in which Australian and New Zealand companies thank for holding the event.
