On October 9, 2024, Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko met in Melbourne with Dr. Iryna Skubiy, the first participant of the Mykola Zerov Scholarship in Ukrainian Studies at the University of Melbourne.

While at the University of Melbourne, Iryna Skubiy will focus on researching and informing the Australian scientific community about such topics as the Holodomor in Ukraine, material culture, ecology of Ukraine, etc. In addition, Ukrainian scientist will give a guest lecture to the Australian academic community about our country.
