As Russia continues to weaponise winter, Ukraine is once again facing a severe humanitarian emergency.
Millions of people across Ukraine remain without electricity, heating, and running water as a result of Russia’s ongoing and deliberate attacks on critical energy infrastructure. The situation remains critical.
Large numbers of civilians are experiencing prolonged power and heating outages. A state of emergency has been declared in Ukraine’s energy sector, and every major power generation facility in the country has been targeted. With temperatures in many regions dropping to minus 20 degrees Celsius overnight, the impact on civilian populations is severe.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Australia calls on the Australian public to support the Warmth for Ukraine fundraising campaign initiated by the Ukrainian community in Australia, with the support of trusted humanitarian organisations.
Donations can be made through the following initiatives:
Ukraine Crisis Appeal (Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations):

Every contribution helps provide warmth, essential services, and life-saving assistance to Ukrainian families during the winter period.
