Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Ukraine in Australia Pavlo Troian attended a charity event in Albury organised by the Ukrainian community, where over AUD 40,000 was raised in support of Ukraine.
On 14 June 2025, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Ukraine in Australia Pavlo Troian visited a charity event in Albury, New South Wales, organised by the Ukrainian community in support of Ukraine.
The event was initiated by Australian citizen of Ukrainian descent Liudmila Lucas.
During the event, Pavlo Troian addressed the audience, expressing gratitude to the organisers and participants for their solidarity with Ukraine and their meaningful contribution to supporting the Ukrainian people amid Russia’s ongoing aggression.
In his remarks, he emphasised the importance of international unity, as well as the vital role of the Ukrainian diaspora in Australia in providing humanitarian assistance, raising awareness about developments in Ukraine, and strengthening bilateral ties.
More than AUD 40,000 (approximately USD 29,000) was raised during the event to support Ukraine.
The Embassy of Ukraine highly appreciates the efforts of the Ukrainian community in Australia and its partners, who continue to provide comprehensive support to Ukraine.
