The Embassy of Ukraine in Australia sincerely welcomes the generous contribution of AUD 10,000 provided by the ACT Government to the Warmth for Ukraine campaign led by Future Ukraine.
At a time when millions of Ukrainians continue to suffer from the consequences of Russia’s ongoing aggression, including attacks on civilian infrastructure and severe hardship, this support will help deliver essential heating equipment and supplies to those who need them most.
The contribution, as well as broader opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and the Australian Capital Territory, were discussed during a meeting between Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko and ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr in February 2026.
The Embassy expresses its sincere gratitude to Chief Minister Barr and the ACT Government for this meaningful gesture of solidarity with Ukraine and its people.
Ukraine highly values the continued support of Australian partners, communities and institutions in helping Ukrainians endure the hardships caused by Russia’s war and in strengthening international solidarity with our country.
