On 9 April 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko delivered a public lecture at the Australian Institute of International Affairs (ACT Branch) in Canberra.
The event, titled “Ukraine after over 10 years of war – is peace any closer?”, attracted a full house, bringing together members of the diplomatic community, academia, and the wider public for an engaging and timely discussion.
During his remarks, the Ambassador outlined the current security situation in Ukraine, highlighted the country’s resilience in the face of ongoing aggression, and addressed the prospects for achieving a just and lasting peace. He also spoke about the broader implications of Russia’s war against Ukraine for global security and the rules-based international order.
