A multinational Team Ukraine, including Ukrainian, Finnish and Austrian diplomats, took part in the Canberra Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for the “Warmth for Ukraine” energy resilience initiative.
A multinational Team Ukraine took part in the Canberra Half Marathon, bringing together partners and friends of Ukraine in support of a shared cause.
The team included Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko, First Secretary Pavlo Troian, Ambassador of Finland Arto Haapea together with Finnish diplomats, as well as Austrian Deputy Head of Mission Dominik Grossalber, alongside Australian friends and supporters of Ukraine.
Participation in the half marathon aimed to raise awareness and funds for the “Warmth for Ukraine” initiative, which supports the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and helps ensure access to heating and electricity for Ukrainian households.
Thanks to this joint effort, significant funds have already been raised, and the fundraising campaign continues.
