On 25 April 2026, on ANZAC Day, the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia joined Australians and New Zealanders in honouring the courage, sacrifice, and service of all those who have served their countries.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko took part in commemorative ceremonies at the Australian War Memorial, where he laid a wreath in tribute to the fallen. He also attended a commemorative event hosted by the Embassy of France, together with members of the diplomatic community.
At the same time, First Secretary Pavlo Troian participated in the National ANZAC Day Mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral, joining clergy, military representatives, and the diplomatic corps in a solemn act of remembrance.
These commemorations serve as a powerful reminder of the values of courage, unity, and service, which remain deeply relevant today. Ukraine stands together with Australia and New Zealand in honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice and in supporting those who continue to serve.
Lest we forget.
