Australia Extends Duty-Free Access for Ukrainian Goods Until July 2028
On 13 May 2026, the Australian Government announced the extension for an additional two years - until 3 July 2028 - of duty-free access for goods of Ukrainian origin to the Australian market.
The decision was announced as part of the Australian Federal Budget for the 2026–2027 financial year.
In a joint media release, Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Penny Wong, Minister for International Development and the Pacific Pat Conroy, and Minister for International Development Anne Aly stressed that Australia would continue its steadfast support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and economy in the face of Russia’s unjustified invasion.
Ukraine is grateful to Australia for this decision, which represents an important demonstration of solidarity with the Ukrainian people and support for Ukraine’s economy amid Russia’s ongoing aggression.
