On August 22, 2024, on the eve of Ukraine's Independence Day, Australia Post, Australia's national postal operator, issued a stamp in support of our country.

On the eve of the stamp presentation, Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko met with Australia Post CEO Paul Graham. During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Australian side for its support of Ukraine and discussed the possibilities of future cooperation.

Commenting on the event, Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko noted that the initiative to develop the stamp belongs to the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia and, in particular, thanked the First Secretary of the Embassy for Economic Affairs Pavlo Troian for the initiative.

The design of the stamp was developed by Australia Post taking into account the recommendations of the Ukrainian side, in particular Ukrposhta.
