Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Taras Kachka, held a meeting with Australia’s Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Matt Thistlethwaite, on the margins of the 14th World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference (MC14), held from 26 to 29 March 2026 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

The discussion focused on advancing bilateral trade, deepening economic cooperation, and exploring new opportunities for engagement between Ukraine and Australia.

The sides exchanged views on strengthening economic ties, enhancing trade relations, and identifying practical areas for cooperation amid current global challenges.

Ukraine appreciates Australia’s continued support and looks forward to further strengthening the bilateral partnership.
